The Team Associated Apex2 Hoonitruck RTR 1/10 Electric 4WD Truck was developed with Hoonigan to bring the world-famous Hoonitruck to RC. Built on the Apex2 chassis, the Team Associated Hoonigan Hoonitruck is a tire-slaying beast! The Apex2 chassis has been updated from the previous version with the latest features in on road racing. A front and rear independent suspension with threaded oil-filled shocks and active rear toe give the Apex2 the ultimate in handling on uneven tarmac. This makes it a perfect platform for the Hoonitruck and tire-shredding action!

Body is beautiful. It handles good. It’s fast. Well engineered. Instead of plastic in some places, your getting steel.

Drives great out of the box and the body is really nice looking ! The quality and workmanship from Associated is excellent. The body details are amazing and are very well done. Performance is good for a brushed system, the ESC has nice adjustability and the 550, motor has a good amount of torque for slides and drifting. I’m not a basher but more of a scale detail RC guy and it fits the bill 100%. The chassis is solid and precise, the only thing I would change would be to have adjustable steering and camber turnbuckles. But the factory setup is spot on, the tires lay perfectly flat and toe in is also. Excellent vehicle, well done Associated. Only complaint is the servo seems to be not functioning properly. Does not center from one direction vs the opposite direction consistently which makes it impossible to trim. This is a solid ride out the box but it does have grease in the diffs instead of oil as the manual would have you think. I also added their optional sway bars. And the stock tires are pretty good as well. They give the truck a good amount of grip and slide.
