Based on the iconic Carbon Cub from CubCrafters, this model is equipped with Horizon Hobby’s exclusive and innovative SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which helps to prevent over-control, loss of orientation, and crashes, making it possible for nearly anyone to learn to fly successfully. You can choose your level of stability and control with Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced flight modes at the flip of a switch, and instantly return to steady flight with the Panic Recovery mode. The powerful brushless motor and 30A telemetry-capable ESC provide real-time flight data to compatible Spektrum™ AirWare™ transmitters. Designed for versatility, this aircraft features robust landing gear with oversized “tundra” tires for takeoffs and landings from a variety of surfaces, including grass, gravel, and pavement. Durable EPO foam construction ensures the airframe is tough yet lightweight. The Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version comes with a factory-installed power system, servos, and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver, ready to be bound to your own full-range 6+ channel Spektrum DSMX®/DSM2® compatible transmitter.
