The Atlantis 1:104 Scale Lockheed P2V-7 Neptune with Collectible Trading Card Model Kit. As used by the US Navy, the P2V-7 served a variety of functions, being easily adaptable to maritime patrol, mine laying, or torpedo bomber duties. During the International Geophysical Year (IGY) from 1957 to 1958, there was a scientific collaboration among 66 countries to carry out earth science studies from the North Pole to the South Pole. Particularly in connection with Operation Deep Freeze, several Neptune’s were equipped with skis and were used by the Navy in the Antarctic. Paint and Cement Required (not included).
