This is the standard RE1208P antenna optimized by ReadyMadeRC to operate at peak efficiency for 1.3GHz (1280MHz).  The antenna element has been trimmed and the case has been re-sealed so it is still waterproof.  The original antenna’s optimal frequency was measured to be 1160MHz. Original SWR at 1280MHz is around 6! (not at all optimal).  After the modifications, optimal frequency is 1280MHz with an SWR of 1 (exactly where it should be)!  Theoretically, the range of this antenna has been more than doubled compared to the unmodified version for those operating at 1280MHz.
