Description
Traxxas X-Maxx Sledgehammer Pre-Mounted Tires with 17mm Hex. The Sledgehammer tire was designed for 8S use and provide extreme traction and control in off-road terrain. The Sledgehammer’s 8.4″ overall diameter provides additional ground clearance, while the open block tread design clears mud and debris for great traction in loose surfaces. Package includes two pre-mounted tires intended for the Traxxas X-Maxx.

They need to figure out how to put a bead lock on these to prevent them from coming off the wheel so easily. 1 customer found this review helpful. John Cain Verified Owner Saturday, Mar 4 2023 (about 2 years ago) Traxxas X-Maxx Sledgehammer Pre-Mounted Tires w/17mm Hex (Black Chrome) (2) Nice, they look great on the Xmaxx loads of grip, definantly makes the truck a little more tipsy, so you do have to adjust your driving to match but all in all I like them better than the stock tires. Wheelies easier, and the larger diameter gives it another click or two on top speed. Very satisfied with these only slightly heavier than stock and they don’t seem to affect run times or temps.
