Description
The Samix SCX24 050 High Performance Motor is a larger 050 size brushed motor option for the Axial SCX24. This longer 050 size motor delivers increased power and torque compared to the stock motor. This is a great upgrade for performance oriented builders. The larger size is better suited to heavy trucks and offers more efficient operation. It works well with the stock ESC, but can also be paired with an upgraded ESC as well.
NOTE: Installation requires 050 Motor Mount (SAMSCX24-8037, SAMSCX24-6037BK) and modification to the battery mount post or relocation of the battery.

Definitely faster than stock which makes it easy to walk with and bump up rocks. 4/5 because it is a little hard to modulate the throttle for technical crawling but overall good motor. 1 customer found this review helpful. With the Samix motor mount, the motor can be installed at the top most position with zero modifications to the chassis or battery tray. The motor is not as smooth as the stock one in the gladiator. It seems to give you a high pitch whine with just enough trigger input. The motor gives the truck a lot more torque, and a tiny bit of more speed. Within 10-15 minutes of straight running the motor at 60-100% throttle, it would be barely warm. It is quite loud though. 4/5, only because it’s not as smooth as stock, but for the painless install and instant torque upgrade, it’s hard to complain at the price point!! the low speed is not as good as the stock motor, but its got more torque.
It’s faster than stock. It is a tad noisy.
in my experience, it tends to get very hot when running it faster (even during winter), the battery last the same time.
it has enough torque to drive with snow tracks.
I would recommend protecting the holes ( with inner fenders) if you plan on running in sandy/ dusty conditions. View all reviews
