*Manufacturers are claiming very high TVL (TV Lines) resolution (an old analog method of measuring horizontal resolution). Although the sensors may have very high resolution, the wireless systems we use are only capable of resolving around 720TVL max, so any numbers over that number will not yield any significant change in image quality over the wireless link. The only advantage of higher resolution sensors is the ability of the camere to use that extra data for image processing.
