To maintain its colorful sheen, dust mobiles made from cardboard with a soft brush and wipe those made from wood, aluminum or plastic with a moist cloth and a mild dishwashing detergent. When deciding on the best place to hang the mobile, keep it away from direct sunlight and strong drafts, and pick a place where there is some movement of air as this is essential to make the mobile move in a slow, quiet motion. Install the mobile using a cup hook, a pin, an adhesive pad, or a Tesa Powerstrip, and adjust the string to hang at your desired height. For an optimal effect, try to hang it near a lamp to create beautiful shadows against the wall, or hang it in a corner position against light-colored walls.
