This model kit combo is a cost-effective set that includes Item 61092 (1/48 Mitsubishi Ki-46 III Type 100 Command Recon Plane ‘Dinah’) and Item 32558 (1/48 Japanese 4×4 Light Vehicle Type 95 ‘Kurogane’) in a special package. During the Pacific War, the Mitsubishi Ki-46 III Type 100 served as a strategic reconnaissance aircraft for the Japanese Army, powered by two 1,300 hp Ha-112-II Kinsei-Kai engines and capable of reaching a top speed of 630km/h. At the request of the Japanese Army, the world’s first lightweight 4×4 vehicles were developed and named ‘Kurogane.’ Approximately 4,800 units were produced and used for reconnaissance and communication roles across China, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific. The Ki-46 III ‘Dinah’ is a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit measuring 229mm in length with a 306mm wingspan, featuring six clear parts to realistically depict its large canopy and detailed cockpit interiors including seats, instrument panel, and transceiver. It includes two full-body figures (pilot and navigator) and four marking options. The Type 95 Kurogane is also a 1/48 scale plastic model assembly kit with a length of 75mm, offering the option to display it with an open or closed hood. The kit includes a metal transfer and decal for the star mark on the front grille, along with two full-body figures—a standing officer and a driver.
