Jeffrey R Verified Owner Thursday, Nov 21 2024 (11 months ago) ProTek RC Heavy Duty QS8 Charge Lead (Male QS8 to Female XT60) I just got 4 of these. The big end on this is an FM8-S male connector. It’s obviously QS8 compatible, and indeed mates just fine with a real QS8, but it’s a cheap-looking copy. I’ve compared it to three other QS8 connectors from SMC, Perfect Pass, and QS themselves. The housing walls are about 0.2 mm thinner, it doesn’t have the red sections molded into it, and the features are rough and shallow.
I suppose these are ok for charging, but I would have preferred legitimate QS connectors, and I won’t be buying more of these. At a minimum, the product listing should make it explicit that this is merely a QS8-compatible connector. View all reviews
